Look for products containing glycerin soft or salicylic acid, which can help keep the pores. Avoid cleansing “milk”, which contain lipids that can make the skin feel oily.

Consider Using Retinoid
Consult with your dermatologist about any medicines that reduce oil production. You can get Retinoid at the supermarket or on prescription.

Dry Your Skin
Allow skin to dry completely before applying the topical medication or moisturizer so you do not clog skin pores.

Exempt Oily Skin
Choose a product specially formulated for oily skin. So you can reduce the oil content in your skin. Make sure the skin care products free of fragrance and do not cause irritation to the skin.

Use the Wise Moisturizer
If your skin needs a moisturizer, choose oil-free moisturizer and use it in small amounts.

Use Sunscreen
Choose a sunscreen that has SPF 15 or higher. Wear sunscreen every day.
